WHO ARE WE

Robo-Erectus SML is a Robotics Team from Singapore Polytechnic, Singapore that participating in Smart Manufacturing League (SML) of RoboCup Industrial.

Our main research includes autonomous mobile robots and manipulators in outdoor and industrial environment to perform complex tasks such Manipulation, Automation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Parts Handling.

Our History

The Robo-Erectus project was started as early as 2002 in Singapore Polytechnic. It was one of the pioneer soccer playing Humanoid Teams in RoboCup Humanoid League. In 2013, the team expanded with the formation of Robo-Erectus@Work, that participate in RoboCup@Work League. Building on this legacy, a new team, Robo-Erectus SML has been established to compete in Smart Manufacturing League (SML) of RoboCup Industrial.

Our Journey

2013 - Foundation

Since our inception, we have been focusing on advancing robotics technology in the field of autonomous systems with the foundation using KUKA youBot base.
